Dollar General adds incoming CEO Jeff Owen to board
GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. — Jeff Owen will be added to Dollar General Corp.’s board of directors on the success of his marketing to main govt officer on November 1, 2022, the organization reported.
With Owen’s appointment, Greenback General’s board will consist of 10 whole associates with in depth experience and knowledge across numerous industries. In July 2022, Dollar Standard introduced Owen would triumph Todd Vasos as CEO. Vasos will serve in a senior advisory situation with Dollar Standard from November 1, 2022 as a result of April 1, 2023, at which time he will retire from work with the enterprise and is expected to go on to serve as a member of the company’s board.
Owen, who has been with the firm for approximately 30 several years, assumed Greenback General’s main working officer job in August 2019 getting beforehand held the roles of executive vice president, retail store functions from June 2015-August 2019 and senior vice president, store functions from August 2011-July 2014. Prior to August 2011, Owen served DG as a vice president, division supervisor retail division supervisor senior director, operations procedure advancement and store supervisor, between other roles. He began his work at Greenback General in 1992 as a keep supervisor trainee in a Nashville, Tenn., store.
