New Chanel Baume Essentiel Multi-Use Glow Stick Rouge Frais Review
Chanel released two blush and cheek palettes for Spring 2023. I picked up one of the palettes. Moreover I also picked up the New Chanel Baume Essentiel Multi-Use Glow Stick Rouge Frais. Anything glow giving and I’m in.
According to the Nordstrom this is “A moisturizing multi-purpose balm that illuminates the face, lips and eyes.”

The product comes in a twist up black tube. It closes shut tightly enough and does not open in my handbag. The cap has the double C’s brand logo.

How To Use The Chanel Baume Essentiel Multi-Use Glow Stick Rouge Frais
The brand has a few tips on how to use this product. They say “Apply alone or over makeup where desired to sculpt and highlight the complexion. For precise, controlled application, sweep onto the face with a highlighter brush.” I apply this over makeup, right from the tube. Additionally, I use my fingers to blend it most of the time. I have blended this with a brush as well. Fingers and brush, both work fine.
My Experience
I have a couple of Baume Essentiel Sticks in my collection. And I love the end result. Most of them do not impart much color though. But this Glow Stick in the shade Rouge Frais has more color to it, that the other glow sticks I have tried in the past. So it adds some color to my lips and cheeks. Along with the slightest amount of color it adds some glow too. It look bright red in the tube but on the skin it has a sheer appearance. It looks beautiful on the lips too and feels like a lip balm. I like the dewy finish this Chanel Baume Essentiel Multi-Use Glow Stick Rouge Frais provides.
I like using it on my cheeks and lips. Because of the dewy, balm like finish I do not like it on my eyes.
