Tom Ford White Suede Eye and Cheek Palette

There is a new palette from Tom Ford Elegance referred to as the White Suede Eye and Cheek Palette ($150) which is quite the splurge obtainable at Bloomingdale’s for their 150th Anniversary and also at Tom Ford. The colours seemed lovely and extremely wearable so I purchased it sight unseen.

The texture is comparable to the Bitter Peach Eyeshadow Quad and Sheer Cheek Duo so I experienced large hopes the new palette would be just as amazing. Sad to say this palette was a skip for me. I posted an Instagram Reel with the palette in action and a mini overview for these curious.

Texture for the cheek hues and eyeshadows is quite stiff just like the Sheer Cheek Duo, however the pigment was missing and incredibly tricky to layer.

The blush and highlighter shades actually done nicely, the shades involve a comfortable dusty rose and pale pink. The two on the skin just are not as interesting to me as some other shades. Undoubtedly not special enough to justify the steep value.

3 of the 4 eye shades utilized quite sheer. The coloration story is just gorgeous but the pigment and color payoff had been missing. Shades include a matte pale pink bone, a copper rose shimmer, a comfortable rose brown tan and a deeper chocolate brown. The only shade that utilized seamlessly was the copper rose color (which is SO beautiful).

If you watch my movie you can see how considerably I have to dig the brush into the pans to pick up any coloration. On the arm shades swatched okay with a dense brush. The eye place is a lot more sensitive and mine just cannot definitely cope with the amount of packing and layering essential for the hues to display up. The shadows type of drag on the skin.

General not worthy of the splurge and if I’m brutally genuine this palette I don’t consider it would be worthy of it even it were moderately priced. Bottom line: preserve your funds, splurge on a thing that performs very well and doesn’t demand plenty of layering or excess get the job done to make work.

I’ve however observed some new Tom Ford loves in the magnificence lineup so I do assume there’s heaps to enjoy from the line. This palette is just not a single of them.
